Landon Hay

Bio

Coach Hay comes to Mountain Home with nearly a decade of experience coaching college baseball. 

After completing his playing career at NCAA Div. 2 Washburn University in 2017, Coach Hay began his career at Missouri Southern State University as a grad assistant. 

In January 2019, Coach Hay accepted the role of Assistant coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS where he led the Ravens offensive and recruiting efforts coaching multiple HAAC All-Conference selections including Daryl Myers who was named an NAIA All-American in 2019. Also charged with leading the recruiting efforts for Raven Baseball. 

In January 2021 Coach Hay accepted the head coaching position at Highland Community College in Kansas, a position that he held until May of 2025. During his time in Highland, the Scotties saw over 60 student athletes sign to continue their baseball careers at the 4-year level including 15 moving onto the NCAA Div. 1 level. 

In May 2025, ASU-Mountian Home announced the hiring of coach Hay as Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director. His first season at the helm of TrailBlazer Baseball will begin February 6th as the TrailBlazers head to Tyler, Texas for a round-robin event featuring ASU-Mountain Home, Cloud County Community College (KS) and the host school, Tyler Junior College. 

Coach Hay is a native of Lawrence, KS and holds a Bachelors Degree in History from Washburn University and a Masters Degree in Education from Missouri Southern State University. Landon and his wife Becca reside in Mountain Home with their son, Hudson and Dog, Leia.
